Le Domaine Tessier a été fondé en 1961 par Roger Tessier. Il a été transmis à Philippe Tessier en 1981, et depuis 2020, Simon et Marie perpétuent son histoire et sa philosophie.
« Le vin est le reflet de son terroir, de son millésime et de celui qui le fait. » Guidé par cette conviction, le domaine pratique une vinification avec un minimum d’interventions humaines. Engagé en agriculture biologique depuis 1998, il n’utilise ni herbicides ni pesticides chimiques, préservant ainsi des sols débordants de vie.
Le domaine cultive aujourd’hui 26 hectares de vignes, bénéficiant d’une grande diversité de sols — argilo-limoneux, argilo-calcaires, et graveleux avec présence de faluns. Cette composition complexe confère aux vins un caractère riche et une grande profondeur. L’environnement frais, cerné par la Loire et les forêts environnantes, façonne des saveurs délicates et raffinées, véritablement uniques à ce terroir.

Domaine Tessier was established in 1961 by Roger Tessier. It was passed on to Philippe Tessier in 1981, and since 2020, Simon and Marie have carried forward its history and philosophy.
« Wine is a reflection of its terroir, its vintage, and the person who makes it. » Guided by this belief, the domaine practices winemaking with minimal human intervention. Committed to organic farming since 1998, they use neither herbicides nor chemical pesticides, preserving soils that are full of life.
The domaine currently oversees 26 hectares of vineyards, blessed with a diverse range of soils — clay, clay-limestone, and gravelly ground containing fossilized shell deposits. This complex soil composition gives the wines a rich character and depth. The cool environment, surrounded by the Loire River and forests, further shapes the delicate and refined flavors that are truly unique to this terroir.
