Joël et sa femme Christine reprennent le vignoble famillial en 1984. En 2012, leur fils Jérémy les rejoint. Depuis quelques années, Jérémy et sa femme Ambre ont repris les rennes de l’exploitation et assurent pleinement la relève.
Le vignoble est cultivé en agriculture biologique depuis 1991 et en biodynamie depuis 2000. Leur objectif premier est d’exprimer au plus près le terroir.
Depuis plusieurs années, Jérémy ne désherbe plus les vignes. Cela permet, lors des périodes de fortes pluies, d’empêcher aux raisins d’absorber une trop grande quantité d’eau. A l’inverse, lors des années sèches, l’enherbement permet de protéger les vignes de la chaleur. Cette méthode leur permet d’obtenir un rendement régulier et une vendange saine à chaque millésime.
Par ailleurs, Jérémy expérimente de nouvelles méthodes de culture sur certaines rangées de vignes. Pour lui, tout l’enjeu se trouve à la vigne: plus les raisins récoltés sont sains, plus la vinification se déroule de manière fluide, permettant ainsi de minimiser les défauts dans le vin. La culture de la vigne reste ainsi une priorité.
Le hibou dessiné sur l’étiquette de leurs cuvées est le symbole du domaine. Par cet animal, le domaine nous envoie le message suivant : un viticulteur qui se livre à la nature doit être aussi ouvert d’esprit et aussi sage qu’un hibou !

Joël and his wife Christine took over the family vineyard in 1984. In 2012, their son Jérémy joined them. In recent years, Jérémy and his wife Ambre have taken over the reins of the business and are fully committed to the future.
The vineyard has been farmed organically since 1991 and biodynamically since 2000.
Their most important objective is to express the terroir as closely as possible.
For several years now, Jérémy has not been weeding the vines. It prevents the grapes from absorbing too much water during massive rain period.
On the opposite, in dry years, weeding protects the vines from the heat. This method enables them to achieve a regular yield and a healthy harvest every year.
Jérémy is also experimenting new cultivation methods on certain rows of vines. According to Jeremy, the key is in the vineyard: the healthier the grapes harvested, the smoother the winemaking process runs, minimizing defects in the wine.

The owl on the label of their cuvées is the symbol of the Domaine. With this animal,
they send out the following message: a winegrower who gives himself over to nature must be as open-minded and wise as an owl!

1984年にジョエルの両親から畑を譲り受けたクリスティーヌとジョエル。2012年から彼らの息子であるジェレミーが加わり、今は彼と彼の奥さんが共に経営を引き継いでいる。
1991年からビオロジック栽培、2000年からはビオディナミ栽培へと転換。テロワールを際立たせるワイン造りをしている。数年前から畑ではブドウの樹の周りの草を刈っていない。
それはふたつの理由がある。雨がたくさん降ったとき、ぶどうが水を吸いすぎるのを草が防いでくれるため、ぶどうが腐りにくい。また反対に、乾燥の厳しい年も草に覆われていることで、ブドウの樹を暑さから守ることができるためだ。これにより毎年収穫される健康的なブドウの量を一定量キープすることができるという。
数年前から数列のブドウの樹で色々新しい取り組みをしている。ジェレミーは、質のいいブドウを収穫することができれば、ワインの醸造もスムーズに進むと考えているからである。だから、彼にとってブドウの樹の栽培が何よりも大切なのだ。
ドメーヌのシンボルマークであるフクロウ。自然に身をゆだねるブドウ栽培者は、フクロウのように広い視野を持ち賢くなければらない、というメッセージが込められている。
